Dr. Katrajian grew up in central New Jersey and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She then attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at Seton Hill in Greensburg, PA. There she founded and was president of the Student American Academy of Osteopathy chapter of her campus. After graduating medical school she completed a three year Family Medicine Residency in Philadelphia, PA at Aria Health, where she served as Chief Resident during her senior year. Following this she accepted a fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine/Neuromuscular Medicine (OMM/NMM) at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY.

Throughout her training, she spent extensive time studying with her mentors across the country and taking hundreds of extra hours of training through workshops and conferences. She teaches OMM nationally with the Osteopathic Cranial Academy (OCA) and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP). She was drawn to the holistic osteopathic philosophy that mind, body and spirit are connected. To have complete health care they must all be taken into consideration. Her approach, following the founding principles of Osteopathy, is to find the health in each of her patients, and allow the innate healing mechanism in the body to restore it. Her goal is to further the tradition of Osteopathy by helping her patients heal through compassionate care.
